The early Disco II's were not supplied with a centre diff lock function although for a couple of years they did have the internals for the centre diff to be locked. During the following couple of years to save costs, the CDL internals were removed. During the last approx 2 years the CDL was offered as an option so on some vehicles the CDL internals were again fitted, a little indecisive maybe !
So, to get the CDL working you may just need the linkage or you may need both the linkage and the internal parts.
The linkage is easy to fit and cable operated like the factory version.
